Christmas 2016

Disclaimer: This is more of a photo post so please do bare with the tons of photos in this post!

We went to our old house in Las Piñas to celebrate Christmas with my grandparents. It has been our yearly tradition to celebrate Christmas with them.

Having to celebrate Christmas with the family is extremely fun. There are a lot of foods, gifts, photos and games!

Food and gifts! So grateful to have so much blessings. (Thanks Lola for being our Santa every year!)

Of course, the usual gift exchange will never be forgotten. Below are my photos with the person I picked and the person who picked me. (Hi cousins!)

After eating and the giving of gifts, we played different games:

  • Pinoy Henyo
  • Chubby Bunny
  • Ubusan ng Lahi
  • Charades
  • Hephep Hooray

and a lot more! What’s even funnier is that we played these games with the oldies. I swear to God they are so cute. (Also the fact that there are cash prices involved made it even more exciting haha!) Everyone’s very participative and so alive, too bad I didn’t get to take a video!

More photos!! (I’m extremely haggard on some of the photos. You guys know how hard life is, we have to be extra competitive with the games!!! Hahaha.)

And of course, my post would not be complete without a solo picture. But our dogs want exposure, too so here you go:

I would like you to meet Yna and Cream-O. The others slept earlier that’s why I didn’t get to take photos of them, though.

We all slept at around 4:30 am already due to the sheer enjoyment of the games! We woke up at around 9 am and decided we wanted to play more games. We played patintero and 1-2-3 pass.

I feel so much like a little kid once again!! (pardon my bare and just-woke-up face)

We stopped playing by 12 noon to get ready for another very special event- my tito’s proposal to her girlfriend. I still feel giddy while writing this!! You guys know how much of a sucker I am for proposals and weddings!!

But of course before going to the event I had to take advantage of the flowers!! Because it is not everyday that I get to hold a bouquet of flowers hahaha!

It was around 4pm when we went to Parque España. We started inflating the balloons and preparing the candles as soon as we reached the venue. It was 6:30pm when we asked the other guests to vacate the rooftop of the said hotel to facilitate the proposal. Here are some photos from the event!

Couldn’t express how happy I am for them. Everything was so sweet and heart felt and almost everybody in the crowd was crying.

I extremely had a blast during Christmas! God never fails to amaze me of how wonderful His ways work. In spite of all the trials we have encountered this 2016, He never fails to ensure us that everything is and will always be fine with Him.

P.S. I’m very sorry if it took so long for me to publish another post. I’ve been busy lately with a lot of things! I promise before the school starts I’d update and reply to all of your messages. Love love. 💕
